Chapter 1
Somewhere deep in the forest of Lagendia, a distant whimpering can be heard. It sounds like someone… or something crying. What could this strange sound be? The forest is fraught with monsters though so it’s gonna be rather dangerous to find out. Could it be a trap?!
Adventurers, what would you do? Would you unravel the mystery behind this strange sound or would you rather play it safe and turn a...deaf ear to it? The number of “Shares” by the deadline stated will determine will the outcome. Remember, this is YOUR adventure!

499 Shares & Below: Erm, maybe it’s not such a good idea to face an unknown enemy. Let’s ignore the sound and carry on with your daily errands.

Chapter 2
AHHH! The sound is too much to bear. You make your way into the dense forest, ignoring the rumbles of unseen monsters. The strange whimpering is drawing closer now and you scan the area carefully, wary of hidden traps.
You listen hard and...realize the cries come from behind a thick foliage. You place one hand on your weapon and with the other hand, you push the unruly green leaves apart.
Is that… is that a… MECHADUCK?
The strange looking creature looks lost. Oh dear, what would you do now? The number of “Shares” by the deadline stated will determine the outcome. Remember, this is YOUR adventure!

Chapter 3
“Come on little one,” you try to coax the trembling creature from the bushes. “I have sent word to all Adventurers in Lagendia. It won’t be long before we find your owner.”
MechaDuck takes a tentative step forward, its mechanical eyes unbl...inking as it seems to stare right through your soul, trying to determine if you were a friend or foe. You keep your posture relaxed and your voice gentle, careful not to distress the little one further.
Perhaps satisfied that you seem harmless enough, MechaDuck rushes into your arms, giving strange grunting sounds. You pat the funny little creature on the head as you scoop it up, and turn to leave but a rustling sound from behind stops you in your tracks.
You hold MechaDuck firmly in one hand and carefully draw your weapon with the other. Sounds of footsteps draw closer, soft thumps on the forest floor unlike the heavy thud of the Blizzard Orc, common in the area.
What could it be? Tension hangs in the air as you strain your eyes in the direction of the sound, trying to pinpoint its location hidden among the dense greenery. The footsteps grow closer with each passing second.

Chapter 4
The soft footsteps are beyond the foliage just behind you now. You shift your posture into a defensive position, one hand ready on your weapon, the other clutching MechaDuck protectively against your chest.
A little girl emerges from the dense greenery, and MechaDuck immediately jumps into her arms.
“You found him!” the girl says happily.
You eye the stranger curiously. What is a young girl doing alone in the forest fraught with so many monsters?
“I lost MechaDuck shortly after arriving in this strange land,” the little girl gives you a warm smile as if sensing your thoughts. “Thank you for not taking him away. I’m known as the Academic, back where I came from. Who are you?”
You are about to introduce yourself but a roar in the distance cuts you short. The ground starts trembling and the forest creatures grow unnaturally quiet and still. There’s no mistaking it this time - a monster, no wait… monsters are heading this way!
There is no time to lose! It does not seem right to place a young girl and a strange creature in the path of imminent danger. Perhaps you should bring them both to safety? What would you do? Remember, this is YOUR adventure!
